Background
Centre for Aviation Psychology was established in 2016 to support aviation professionals (e.g. pilots, airlines, flight schools, cabin crew, air traffic controllers and AMEs), meeting industry directives and recommendations about psychological assessment, support and mental health prevention.
Why they approached us
After emerging from lockdown, the company expanded quickly, taking on more airlines than anticipated. We integrated into the company and became their finance department because they needed a finance team to support their finance operations and to have direct communication with the airlines and suppliers.
A streamlined, closely watched procedure was necessary. Prior to invoicing, controls had to be in place to guarantee that the right data was present. Along with continuing with month-end and year-end accounts, controls were also necessary for credit control and monthly reporting.
