Background
Why they approached us
As a newly established school, Dovecote required financial support to develop effective processes for their financial administration. Their Finance Manager reached out to ensure they had systems in place to meet their current needs and to create a framework for future growth.
After an initial review and turnaround of their bookkeeping for the first nine months, we introduced streamlined processes and implemented new software better suited to their requirements. This included a migration from Sage to QBO, enabling more efficient reporting.
What We Have Done for Dovecote
Building on the success of this collaboration, we have continued to provide ongoing financial support. Our role includes:
- Daily administration and bookkeeping
- Managing payroll, pensions, and supplier payments through NatWest Bankline
- Raising sales invoices and providing credit control
- Training and supporting client team members on financial software
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and comparing actual results to projections
- Preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Attending client meetings to discuss financial strategies
